Hear No Evil See No Evil Launch Party This THURSDAY!

This Thursday sees the launch party for our ‘Hear No Evil, See No Evil’ Magazine and Compilation CD project in conjunction with Onefiveeight and NOISEfestival.com, from 8pm til the early morn’ across the NOISE Lab and Dry Live, with live sets from Paper Tiger and Mind on Fire Band… click the flyer for all the info and make sure you get down!

New Featured Artist: LA77

Its been a little while but you may have noticed there is a new featured artist here on the site, Manchester’s Lee Andrews, a.k.a LA77.

Featuring on the debut Mind on Fire LP compilation which drops next month, he will be performing with full live band at the Mind on Fire 6th Birthday and Label Launch Party on Friday 15th October at Islington Mill! Along with everyone from the release: xxxy, Grave Architecture, Zoir, Woli Wols, Neko Neko, G-Kut and Pareesa, the launch is not to be missed so mark it in your diaries… And keep checking back for more news on the LP.

Our good friends To Sophia have a brand new single out next month to coincide with Manchester festival In The City… check details below!

“To Sophia are a four-piece from Manchester who produce progressive, soulful music with influences ranging from Arethra Franklin to The Mars Volta. Initially known as a modern experimental folk group producing self-styled “acoustic drum n’ bass”, To Sophia, have now expanded their sound into a full electric ‘plugged in’ setup.

Their first release featuring this new sound will be brand new single Follow, which is to be released on Monday 18th October.To celebrate the release, they are due to perform a show during Manchester’s In The City festival at The Bay Horse on Friday 15th October, where copies of the single will also be available.”

To celebrate the launch of Tullis Rennie and Najia Bagi’s Electronic Exchange EP on Concrete Moniker as well as their debut live performance together at the Nook next week, Tullis has put together September’s Mind on Fire podcast.
