Burnst have been playing together for over 7 years. They started out making crude Kyuss-meets-American Football noises and have since gone on to rip off many other of their favourite bands including Converge, Billy Mahonie, Mogwai, Pinback, Isis, Shellac and Tortoise although not always in ways you'd expect. The term 'Post-Rock' has been diluted over the past decade but if used in the classic 90's way, it could appropriately be used to pigeon-hole the band. Although a more accurate description would be 'Instrumental-Rock Power Trio'. They might have something you can buy one day, but don't count on it. Simliar/Related Artists - |
