17/11 – Shigeto, Paper Tiger and Denis Jones

We are very very excited about this party tomorrow. We’ve wanted to get Shigeto over to Manchester for ages. Support from Leeds’ excellent Paper Tiger and a brand new collab set from Denis Jones. DJs from Hoya Hoya, Herbal Sessions and Mind on Fire. In one of the city’s finest venues. Visuals from EMN and Upper Space. Tickets still available from SKIDDLE.

Check out this interview with  Shigeto with a few live clips…

Shigeto @ Islington Mill

Just less than three weeks now until Shigeto hits Manchester (sorry Salford) and Islington Mill for one of only two U.K shows.  He is supported on the night by Paper Tiger and Denis Jones’ new live collaborative project and advance £6 tickets are still available from Skiddle. It’s £8 on the door and certainly not to be missed.

Denis Jones live tracks!

So we’ve got our grubby mitts on some improvised recordings from Denis Jones’ recent sellout show at Band On The Wall. They sound immense and I can’t believe I missed the show. It’s going to be released later this year by Humble Soul, but Denis has klndly allowed us to host two tracks here for your aural pleasure.

We are excited to announce that we will be teaming up with our good friends This City Is Ours for a really great show in March, one of our best line ups to date, if i do say so myself.

Mount Kimbie have been making waves with their first 2 releases on Hot Flush, and will be playing a full live show alongside XXXY, Denis Jones, Borland, From The Kites of San Quentin and more. Click below for more info.

For a taste of what to expect, you can check Mount Kimbie for FREE at the Red Bull Music Academy showcase at Common on January 30th. Amazing!
