Mind on Fire is 8

Happy birthday to us. Mind on Fire has reached the ripe old age of 8, to celebrate this we will be taking over Kraak gallery tomorrow night for an all out party. Expect to hear sounds spanning the decades along with upcoming label stuff and MOF classics as the Mind on Fire selectors hold it down throughout the night.

We will have a fully stocked merch desk with all the previous MOF releases, select cuts from other local labels, t-shirts, and signed A2 prints of the birthday poster, designed by Dan Birkbeck.

Trojan Horse album launch

After three years of cultivation, Manchester four-piece Trojan Horse finally bring their self-titled debut album to light on Saturday March 5th with the ‘No Record Record Release,’ taking place at Kraak Gallery. The group have long hidden in the margins of their native Manchester’s ever in-flux music scene, occasionally bursting out of the shadows with furiously delivered live shows before withdrawing to concoct further alchemy between their ever-expanding range of touch stones and influences.

The supporting cast for this launch party is a superb lineup of local bands including From The Kites Of San Quentin, Cyril Snear and Meta Music…

A great weekend of live music ahead with The Oscillation, Go Lebanon and Cyril Snear on Friday 4th at Islington Mill too. See you down the front.
