MOF band @ Parklife
This weekend sees Parklife festival running over two days at Platt feilds. Apart form a steller line up including Doom, DJ Shadow, Mount Kimbe, Gradmaster Flash, Riot Jazz and Hudson Mohawke our very own Mind On Fire band will be playing on the Sunday.Lets hope the Manchester sun stays out for the weekend.

This month’s Nook session sees a Mind on Fire Band takeover. The band drop their plectrums and drum sticks and pick up their record bags for a wide selection of party tunes to get in the mood for Soundwave next month.

The Mind on Fire Band will be playing our first live show in a while, this Monday at Abode in Chorlton… Its a free show, and we will be showcasing tracks from our forthcoming EP as well as a couple of new tunes. We will also have the last few of our Soundwave tickets for sale so come down and say hello.
Yes yes… we are excited to announce the Mind on Fire band will be squeezing into a van and making our way over to Croatia for the fantastic Soundwave Festival later this year. All your favourite clubnights are involved, and the lineup is immense already.
We will also be selling tickets for the festival with no booking fee so hit us up at mofsounds@gmail.com and we will hook you up.

The Mind on Fire Band will be coming out of winter hibernation for our first show of 2010 at the launch of Dub Culture, a new night at Joshua Brooks next Saturday. A new monthly event from the minds behind Natural Selection, Skint But Happy and Overdub, and we’ll be playing alongside The Mouse Outfit, Bedos and more. Get down!

Mind on Fire are excited to announce that we have teamed with good friends and some of Manchester’s best promoters to launch a new monthly night at Saki Bar, NEIGHBOURHOOD : New regular event combining dubwise roots and reggae with old school hip hop and funk… A collaboration between Mind on Fire, Drum Music, Dub Smugglers, Family Gathering, At Large, The Pinch and more.
