Hulme Festival 2011

After the success of the Hulme Street Party in April, the people and sound system’s behind it host the Hulme Community Festival on the last Saturday in July. Our good friends Nedry will be travelling up from London to play and you can catch sets from Mind on Fire residents as well as Herbal Sessions, Dub Smugglers and others. Good music, good food, workshops and more, all in Hulme Park on 30th July!

May Podcast from Chartist

May’s Podcast comes courtesy of Chartist, aka Joe Webster, aka the Jack of all trades of the Mind On Fire band. Joe can be found at various times manning the bass, melodica, xylophone, percussion to name just a handful. This mix gives you a flavour of just some of the sounds gracing his turntable at this moment, including Saul Williams, Fuck Buttons, Nedry, Subtitle, James Blake, The Clash, Yeasayer and more.
