This weekend sees the Mind on Fire Band’s last gig of 2010, down at the fantastic Norvun Sunday at The Roadhouse. Expect the usual shenanigans, jamming and collaborations, chess and hot bread products. See you there!

Mind On Fire has to thank the lovely ladies and gentlemen down at Norvun Sunday for making us aware of the sensation that is GoGo Penguin. Seriously though, if you were at The Roadhouse a couple of Sundays back you will understand but if you weren’t, check the video above and take our word when we say it was one of the most exciting live performances we have seen in a while. The next Norvun Sunday promises to be no less exciting, go check for yourself…
When the Mind On Fire wagon rolled into the Roadhouse last month for the inimitable Norvun Sunday some scamp decided to record all the goings onto a bloody computer. Come Sunday the 15th of November MOF will once again be collaborating with our good friends at Norvun Devolution for Norvun Sunday, a relaxed combination of excellent live music, DJs and visuals between 7pm and 11pm at The Roadhouse. The MOF band will be down collaborating with the one and only desk controller Bakery Studios as well as improvising with some special guests on the night. If this doesn’t whet your appetite there will be DJ sets from ourselves and Norvun residents, Adventures in You Tube with the BTEC crew and board games, chess and warm snacks for those of you who are still crying into the ether for more.
